Prerequisites
:
No previous experience with silver metal clay is necessary.
Program
:
An
afternoon lasting approximately 8 hours in order for
you to learn to work with silver metal clay and to create
a few simple designs. You'll be learning the basic techniques
of working with silver clay and creating several basic
pieces of jewelry like pendants and earrings. You'll
also be working with a small hand torch to fire your
pieces.
The
techniques included :

out the clay to an even thickness

of liquid paste (slurry)

of texture sheets
techniques
of drying
finishing
before firing

finishing
and polishing after firing
